Nut Butter and Banana on Toast

Ingredients
  

  • 1 thick slice wholemeal bread
  • 1 medium banana
  • 2 tbsp almond butter ((or other nut butter))

Instructions
 

  • Toast the bread.
  • Spread a thin layer of almond butter on each slice.
  • Top with slices of banana.

Notes

Prep Tips:
This uses a very thick slice of homemade bread.  Two small slices would be equivalent.
Health Tips:
Bananas are a healthy source of fiber, potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, and various antioxidants and phytonutrients.
Eco Tips:
Remember to recycle your bread bag with soft plastic recycling at the supermarket!
