Planning a trip around the world alone is a pretty big undertaking. Even if you just wing most of it there’s still a fair amount of prep work in understanding which immunisations you need, what to take etc.
Winging it is not really my style, and with children coming too I think as a parent you feel an added responsibility to know where your children are going to be sleeping that night, and to be sure that you’ve taken all the relevant safety measures.

For us this took a lot of time and thought. Mainly because I wanted to travel the world at approximately 20 degrees where possible and because there are so many places to go!!
